Bat Chat at Myrtle Beach State Park - Program

Bats, the only mammal capable of true flight, often give us chills and leave us in fright.  Discover fascinating facts about bats as we first meet inside the activity center. Around dusk, we will head outside and have a rare opportunity to hopefully see and even hear these master aerialists at work. Using a special device called a bat detector, we will eavesdrop on bats as they hunt for insects.
