Kings Mountain State Park’s Civilian Conservation Corp-constructed bathhouse is one of the finest examples of CCC rock wall/step construction in the SC State Park Service --moreover the Southeast. This area was a hub of park activities from the day it was built in the 1930s until the 1990s. Kings Mountain is an old park that is in need of renovation and revitalization, and this historic structure is the place to start. This would not only create a central location for campers and visitors to receive information, but it would also allow for utilization of the Lake Crawford swimming area again. This project would be a crown jewel for the park service and would also allow Kings Mountain the opportunity to promote new services and bring itself into the 21st century. Please help us to revive this once bustling hub at Kings Mountain State Park!
